GTU Declares Diploma and BCA Results for May 2026: How to Check Yours Online

Gujarat Technological University has declared the DIPL Semester 6 Regular and BCA Semester 3 Remedial results for its May 2026 examination session.

Gujarat Technological University (GTU) declared results for two separate examination categories on 10 July 2026, both belonging to the university’s May 2026 session: the Diploma (DIPL) Semester 6 Regular result, and the BCA Semester 3 Remedial result for students clearing a backlog paper.

Checking either result requires visiting the official result portal gturesults.in or the university’s main site gtu.ac.in, selecting the correct examination from the results list, and entering an enrollment number together with a seat number. The portal then returns subject-wise marks alongside the SPI, CGPA and overall result status.

The result available online right now is provisional, according to GTU — the final, signed marksheet will be issued separately by each student’s respective institute at a later date. Students are advised to download and print the online result in the meantime, as a working copy.

Students unhappy with their marks can apply for recheck or reassessment, but the window is short: applications close on 13 July 2026. The process runs through gturesults.in, is generally limited to theory papers, and requires a fee payment per subject before submission. GTU has stated the revised marks from a recheck are treated as final, whether they move up or down from the original score.

To pass, GTU requires a minimum of 35 percent per subject, combining internal assessment with the external theory examination. Students converting a CGPA into a percentage can use GTU’s own formula: percentage equals (CGPA minus 0.5) multiplied by 10.

GTU, based in Ahmedabad, conducts examinations across a wide range of programmes — Diploma, BE/B.Tech, BCA, MCA, BBA, MBA, B.Pharm and M.Pharm — twice a year, in a Winter session held in December and a Summer session held in May.
