Delhi’s DSSSB Releases PGT History Result 2026: What Shortlisted Candidates Must Do Next

The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has released the result for Post Graduate Teacher (History), Male and Female, under Post Code 831/24 — one of the most heavily contested PGT posts in the current recruitment cycle, drawing over 10,000 applications. The vacancies span the Directorate of Education (DoE), GNCTD, and the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC).

This result follows the Tier-I online written examination conducted under Advertisement No. 01/2025, which tested candidates on general awareness, teaching methodology, and subject knowledge in History.

Candidates can check their status by visiting dsssb.delhi.gov.in, opening the official Result Notice PDF for Post Code 831/24, and locating their roll number under the relevant category — UR, EWS, OBC, SC, ST or PwBD. An individual scorecard is also accessible by logging into the OARS portal, dsssbonline.nic.in, using an Application Number and date of birth.

What’s published is a provisional nomination list, not a final selection. DSSSB has been explicit that the ranking is based purely on Tier-I marks and preferences entered in the original OARS application, and carries no automatic right to appointment.

Candidates who find their name on the list must now complete e-dossier submission — uploading postgraduate certificates, B.Ed. qualification proof, age and category documents — through the OARS portal within the timeline DSSSB specifies, after which the concerned User Department will carry out document verification.

DSSSB has flagged that any mismatch between a candidate’s e-dossier and their original application, or any false information discovered later, can lead to cancellation, and that it retains the right to correct the result if any error is found.
